Still Life Study

Still life study, mainly a color study. I already posted another oil painting like this one a while back with the same objects. I will try to make a new setup next time with some different objects, but I really like that high chroma in the cup. Anyways....

Traditional Work

Still Life Oil painting study. I have been doing my studies in oils lately, I feel I learn much more this way.


It has been such a helpful exercise that of rendering simple forms like a sphere and a cylinder... I still can soften and blend things to get them smoother, but I got the the basic values more or less there.

Oil paintings done this week. I don't just paint ugly creatures and fighting dudes with photoshop... I enjoy expressing this side of me as well and oils are an outstanding medium. Hope you like these still lives.
