This is something I didn't plan at all. I was doodling and experimenting with Photoshop and.... this is what it came out! I tried to balance cool and warm colours on their respective side, and introduced another colour in the middle (air shuttle).
Anyways... as you may presume that "rock" is a head of an angry wolf (or something like that!). I used no reference for this one - as I said it was totally unplanned!
I decided to take the previous post to another step. I rendered the head a bit more and added some small design too. I think it's much better if you compare it with the previous one.
I had nothing planned for this one, although as soon as I pictured it in my mind, I did my best to get what I wanted. It took me quite some hours to finish - I just get too much concentrated in perfecting edges and lines! Well maybe that's my natural way to finish pieces :)
Well since feasts are with us I just thaught of making some nice and unusual artwork. These are the initial idea and layout of what I want to make. Thumbnail sketches are always good when you are unsure on what to make. I wanted to create something that everyone likes, and since I like China... what's better then Pandas?? :)
This is something that I did without having anything pictured in mind. The original idea while doing it was to make a mountain, then it turned out to symbolize a head of a creature raising from the earth. The idea of the birds is to show a disturbing environment. Unfortunately I had no reference for this.
Here is a drawing I did lately using watercolour (no digital artwork!). Below is the first wash of colour- just to get the idea of where colours should be. Then there is the finished head- although it's far away from completition. I have to do the background and colour the other tiger I sketched right next to it!
